The Refuge at Victory is a fellowship of the Assemblies of God. Our beliefs can be found by clicking the doctrine button under the AG logo below. In a short summary we believe that God created man in the garden of Eden where they succumbed to sin. In an act of grace above the comprehension of man, they were cast out into the field where they would live until such time that the Lord sent His son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross in an act of redemption for man. He rose on the third day and subsequently ascended to the right hand of the Father where He waits until such time the Lord sees fit to send Him back for His bride, that is His second coming, the church. The church consists of those who believe in their hearts and profess with their tongues, that Jesus is their savior who died for their sins and rose on the third day and are actively repentant (meaning they turn from sinful lives).
Pertaining to the propulsion of the Gospel through missions, we believe there are two types of Christians: Those who go and those who send. We believe it is important to play an active role in missions and missionary support as the Spirit leads and directs us. In a similar mindset, RAV encourages believers to actively serve their families, fellow Christians, and communities in a fashion where they work to become the hands and feet of Christ.
The Refuge at Victory has a willing team of ministers and volunteers that invest great amounts of time and prayer into ministering to and facilitating a worship experience for both visitors and family.
